About this book

This military thriller imagines a confrontation growing out of tensions in Ukraine and the involvement of the Russians and the US. The opening follows steelworker Petro Kolomoisky to a political gathering in Kharkiv, where ordinary routines meet a charged public atmosphere. Framed as a fictional possibility, the novel links local unrest with broader concerns about political division, foreign influence and the risk of escalation.
