BloodLust is the first book in the Rise of the Iliri series by Auryn Hadley. It’s an epic science-fantasy novel that follows Sal Luxx, a hardheaded pure-bred iliri who has been a slave and a conscript in a world ruled by humans. The story begins with Sal being given a chance to join an elite military unit, which triggers her inner predator and strange mental powers.
