Books and Brews

The first book in Susan Harper’s Back Room Bookstore Cozy Mystery series is titled “Books and Brews.” The Back Room Bookstore’s new owner Monica Montoya, believed she was operating a typical bookstore. There’s a catch though the business has a back door that opens into the paranormal world. Monica’s plans for a typical life are shattered when a man kills her at a party. Using a little magic, she sets out to defend her friends—both supernatural and mortal—and bring the murderer to justice, all the while keeping her secret safe.
