Broken Play

The first novel in the False Start series is “Broken Play,” written by Alison Rhymes. The main character of the story is June, who grew up to love her brother’s best friend, Drew McKenna. She finds Drew with another woman after five years of marriage and decides to break things off. June finds herself perhaps falling in love as she starts a new job. But Drew wants her back, which sets off an honest and outstanding story of self-reflection and self-discovery.
