About this book

An unusual commission draws a bookbinder into the history of a manuscript called Crossings. Collector Beattie Ellingham provides precious materials and a strict condition that its contents remain unread. This historical fantasy begins with the binder inspecting the package, where an unexpected illustration and a puzzling arrangement of documents suggest more than a routine assignment.

About the author

Alex Landragin

Crossings arrives with a choice. Alex Landragin's first novel is presented as three found manuscripts, The Education of a Monster, City of Ghosts and Tales of the Albatross, and its preface invites the reader either to go straight through or to follow the Baroness sequence, hopping between the three by page numbers printed at the close of every chapter.
