About the author

David Mack

David Mack sold his first Star Trek work with John J. Ordover. The two pitched what became the 1995 Deep Space Nine episode Starship Down, and a second idea from the same meeting sat in the writers' room for years until Ronald D. Moore reshaped it into It's Only a Paper Moon. Mack, born on 12 May 1969, then built a career in prose.
