About this book

Double Nickels on the Dime by Michael T. Fournier is a tribute to the underground punk scene of the 1980s. The book focuses on the music of the Minutemen, their punk ethic, and their enduring songs. It includes extensive interviews with Mike Watt, the band’s bass player, and others close to and inspired by the band. It shows themes of rebellion, alienation, and the search for authenticity.
