Emblems of Love is a 1912 verse collection by Lascelles Abercrombie (1881-1938), the English poet and critic counted among the Georgian poets and the Dymock circle that gathered Robert Frost and Edward Thomas before the First World War. The book casts love through a sequence of dramatic dialogues and lyric meditations, the philosophical-erotic vein for which Abercrombie was admired in his day. He later became a respected professor of literature, and his criticism outlasted the fashion for his verse. Free PDF download available on BDeBooks.
