About this book

Finlay Donovan is a writer and mother trying to hold her household together while her former husband challenges her ability to care for their children. With her nanny Vero already involved in the aftermath of dangerous misunderstandings, Finlay learns that someone has offered money to have her ex-husband harmed. Domestic mishaps and criminal trouble overlap in this humorous mystery.

About the author

Elle Cosimano

Finlay Donovan Is Killing It opens with a struggling novelist discussing her plot over lunch, being overheard, and being handed an envelope of cash by a woman who assumes she is a contract killer. Cosimano keeps the farce tight, with the ex-husband, the childcare and the unpaid bills doing as much work as the crime. She wrote young adult thrillers first.
