Chris Bunch’s “Firemask” On a far-off planet, the aftermath of the civil war has started to be cleared out. But without assistance or counsel, the Confederation Empire’s administration says nothing. The Last Legion’s men and women must defend the delicate system against the alien Musth’s cunning and desire for dominance.

The Last Legion will confront the Musth in the manner it chooses—by waging ruthless guerilla warfare against the oppressors—as they move through the streets of the planets’ capitals. They remain the only line of defense against the Musth’s nefarious schemes despite all the odds.
