About this book

Heather Lynn Rigaud's 'Fitzwilliam Darcy, Rock Star' is a clever and engrossing modern-day adaptation of Pride and Prejudice. Rock band Slurry is led by virtuoso guitarist Fitzwilliam Darcy in this novel, which was first self-published under the title Slurry. In the narrative, Darcy and his bandmates negotiate fame, love, and outrageous reputations both on and off the stage while including themes of morality, romance, and music.

When they run upon Long Borne's fiercely independent diva Elizabeth Bennet Sparks flies, suffering occurs, and a summer filled with life-changing events is ahead. In this fascinating version, drugs, rock 'n' roll, and sex go hand in hand with Jane Austen's beloved story.
