About this book
The title page gives the book as Frank Merriwell’s Brother, or The Greatest Triumph of All, by Burt L. Standish. Frank Merriwell stands beside a small table in a room of one of New York’s big hotels, holding the two oilskin envelopes. Each envelope is marked “To Frank Merriwell; to be opened the day after he graduates from Yale.”
Frank exclaims that he shall stick to it till he finds the cabin of Delores, if it takes a year. Frank tells Carson he is the eighth man for their ball-team, if they can get him to come in with them. Billy Bilton is described as the Honorable William P. Bilton, representative in Congress for the great and glorious Commonwealth of Maine.
