From Russia With Love is a novel by Ian Fleming, published in 1957. It is the fifth book in the James Bond series, and features Bond as the target of a Soviet assassination plot. The novel is set in Istanbul, London, and Paris, and introduces the villainous organization SPECTRE. The novel is considered one of Fleming’s best works, and was adapted into a film in 1963, starring Sean Connery as Bond.
