About this book

Inspector Christian Tell investigates a suspicious death in a small Swedish community, uncovering troubling secrets in Camilla Ceder's Scandinavian mystery. The story opens on a bitterly cold December morning as factory worker Åke Melkersson prepares for retirement. His familiar domestic routines and reluctance to face his final working day establish an ordinary life at the edge of the case.
