About this book
Genom Canada (Through Canada) is a Swedish-language travel account by Paul Peter Waldenström (1838-1917), the Swedish theologian, preacher, and parliamentarian who led the Swedish Mission Covenant Church. Waldenström travelled widely and wrote popular accounts of his journeys for Swedish readers, including visits to the Swedish emigrant communities of North America. This book records his observations of Canada. It is a source for the Swedish-American emigrant connection.
