About this book

Black queer writer Kip Starling shuts himself inside his Brooklyn basement to investigate Mohammed el Adl, an Egyptian man romantically involved with E. M. Forster. David Santos Donaldson's Greenland places a story within Kip's own story as he works toward a publisher's deadline three weeks away. His effort to imagine Mohammed's life brings questions of race, education, belonging and relationships into contact with his own experiences.
