“Hidden Scars” is a dark contemporary romance novel written by the author Carmen Rosales. This is an excellent book that tells the story of a seventeen-year-old girl named Khalani Martinez who was traumatized by her brother’s death. She meets Aiden Sincere at the Hillside Academy, who is the crush of her whole school. Despite their banter, Khalani’s hidden scars and Aiden’s troubled past intertwine. Can they find solace in each other?
