About this book

I'll Leave It To You, by Noël Coward, is subtitled "A Light Comedy In Three Acts". Sylvia tells Bobbie "Mother's very worried" and that "money troubles are perfectly beastly". Bobbie asks "What can we do?" and Sylvia answers "Think of a way to make money."

Evangeline, "tall and almost beautiful", carries a book and says "I must read some more Maeterlinck." Daniel says "We used to sit round the camp fire in the evenings and cook the fish" and that "your Rose song in particular, Bobbie, was a great success", but Bobbie answers "Don't perjure yourself, uncle". The stage directions give a long silence in which Daniel reads the paper, while Joyce shakes her head as Oliver strolls in from the garden.
