About this book

We entered a legendary family gathering at the Golden Hotel by Elyssa Friedland last summer. Once the gem in the hot-on-hot Catskills vacation scene, two clans meet together for the summer at their treasured retreat. In its day, the Golden Hotel was a second home to celebrities and wealthy visitors. But the Catskills are not the same as they were in the past; times have changed.

Once close friends and business associates, the Goldman and Weingold families are currently debating whether to accept an alluring offer to sell the hotel. The two families are forced to make a devastating choice as facilities decay and long-kept secrets come to light. Can they save their cherished Golden or is it too late? In this thrilling, nostalgic tale business and pleasure combine as the hotel owners discover the allure of a bygone period while dealing with what might be their final resort.
