Love for the Cold-Blooded

Alex Gabriel’s book “Love for the Cold-Blooded, or The Part-Time Evil Minion’s Guide to Accidentally Dating a Superhero” is a humorous tour through a world of heroes and villains. Pat West, the main character has a supervillain for a relative and occasionally doubles as his bad minions. His life changes when he unintentionally falls asleep with billionaire Nick Andersen, a.k.a. the reclusive superhero Silver Paladin. Silver Paladin races to stop Pat’s mother from bringing the world to its knees when she returns, and all of Pat’s secrets threaten to blow up in his face. How Pat manages to be a minion and still seek a hero is a topic covered in the novel.
