Marching Powder is the story of Thomas McFadden, a British drug trafficker running tours of the Bolivian prison he was locked in, a place where inmates bought their own cells and drugs were manufactured on the wing. Young, an Australian, went in as a tourist and stayed three months living in the prison to record it, then several years writing it up.
