My Attainment of the Pole presents itself as Being the Record of the Expedition that First Reached the Boreal Center, 1907-1909. The book also carries the Final Summary of the Polar Controversy.

The text states that Cook's determination by the sextant of the sun's altitude was made April 21, 1908, and that Peary's final observations were taken April 7 of the following year.
