About this book

Napalm and Silly Putty is a collection of the comedian's sharp observations on various topics, from God and language to death and advertising. The title reflects Carlin's fascination with how humans can create both harmless playthings like Silly Putty and deadly weapons like napalm.

About the author

George Carlin

George Carlin was a stand-up comedian, actor, social critic, and author whose close attention to language carried naturally from live performance into prose. Napalm and Silly Putty gathers short observations, longer essays, questions, and comic lists shaped by the same skeptical voice heard in his recorded work.
