Oaths of Legacy

The second book in Emily Skrutskie’s Bloodright Trilogy is titled “Oaths of Legacy.” Gal, the young prince at the center of the tale, struggles to choose between love and devotion. He is committed to putting an end to the uprising that threatens the authority of his family as he is destined to lead the Umber Empire.

But once Gal is taken prisoner by the uprising, his friend Ettian turns against Gal by claiming to be the true leader of the uprising and the hidden heir to the defunct Archon Empire. Now that he is a political prisoner, Gal needs to organize his escape and undermine the uprising from within.
