Vows of Empire

The cosmic conclusion to Emily Skrutskie’s Bloodright Trilogy is “Vows of Empire.” Gal and Ettian, two young princes who are fighting on opposing sides of the conflict, are the focus of the narrative. They used to be best friends, but they are no longer as close. Now heading their respective armies are Ettian, the long-lost heir to the Archon throne, and Gal, the heir apparent to the Umber Empire. If they are ever to create a universe in which they can coexist, they will have to face the debts they owe to one another, their friends, and their empires as the war approaches its breaking point.
