Second Touch

Bodie Thoene’s interesting historical fiction book “Second Touch” takes place in first-century Jerusalem. The story’s main character, Peniel, is a blind beggar who misses his family and his house. Three new characters, Rabbi Ahava, Cantor, and Lily, cling to hope despite their dreadful circumstances. The transforming power of the Messiah is their light in the stormy circumstances of those dark times.
