About this book
Sinn Fein is a study by P. S. O'Hegarty (1879-1955), the Irish republican, bibliophile, and historian who took part in the independence movement and later wrote its history. O'Hegarty knew the leaders personally and wrote with an insider's knowledge of the Sinn Féin movement, the Rising, and the road to the Irish Free State, though his later disillusion sharpened his pen. His works are primary sources for the Irish revolution.
