Rennell Rodd

Rennell Rodd pursued parallel careers as a British diplomat, poet, and classical scholar, with official appointments in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. Before his senior diplomatic service, he published Songs In The South, an early collection of poems issued in London in 1881.
