Steel Gauntlet

The third book in David Sherman’s StarFist Saga is titled “Steel Gauntlet.” The story takes place in a future in which the Confederation Marines, under the command of Fleet Initial Strike Teams (FISTs), are sent to drive out the cunning usurper St. Cyr from the resource-rich planet Diamunde. The Marines have a difficult assignment ahead of them: defeating stronger mechanized forces.
