The Age of Erasmus is a 1914 volume of lectures by Percy Stafford Allen (1869-1933), the Oxford scholar who devoted his life to editing the complete correspondence of Erasmus, the monumental Opus Epistolarum that remains a triumph of modern scholarship. Allen brings his unrivalled knowledge to a portrait of the world of the great humanist. He later became President of Corpus Christi College, Oxford.
