About this book
The Bible Book by Book, by Josiah Blake Tidwell, is described as "A MANUAL: For the Outline Study of the Bible by Books". The preface to the second edition says "The descriptive matter has been put in paragraph instead of tabular form; the analyses have been made shorter and less complex". Under the heading "Its Solution of Man's Difficulties." the text asks "What is the origin of the world? What is the origin of man? How came sin in the world?"
The text claims "Bible miracles are never for mere exploitation or for personal profit to the one who performs the miracle." A chapter headed "CHAPTER XX. Jonah and Micah." has a section "Jonah. The Prophet." that says "His home was Gath-hepher, a village of Zebulun". A numbered item reads "From the following scriptures make a list of all the things James advises us to do".
