About this book

“The Coroner’s Lunch” is the first book in the Dr. Siri Paiboun series by Colin Cotterill. It introduces us to Dr. Siri Paiboun, a 72-year-old medical doctor who has been appointed the national coroner of newly socialist Laos. Despite the challenges of an underfunded lab, an incompetent boss, and a quirky support staff, Dr. Siri’s sense of humor and determination help him navigate through his often frustrating days.
