The Crooked House is a book by Brandon Fleming. The contents list chapters called A Strange Riddle, The Crooked House and The Endless Garden. A house in the book is described as a mass of bewildering crookedness from the foundations to the topmost brick. The description says there must have been a mile of unnecessary corridors, dozens of incomprehensible corners and turnings, and at least a score of unwanted entrances and exits. George Copplestone found the house a residence after his own heart.
