The Fountainhead

“The Fountainhead” is one of the first fiction books by Ayn Rand, the russian-american writer and a fancy of the beliefs of an objectivist movement she later began. The novel is a troubling existentialist, postmodernist examination of self and the individual identity through the actions and persona of a relentless main protagonist, Howard Roark, a young arrogant archi4itect who stood unyielding for an architectural world that is not ready for change and progress.
