Mark Pett taught sixth grade in the Mississippi Delta, an experience behind his comic strip Mr. Lowe, and has also taught English and editorial cartooning in Prague. His other syndicated strip, Lucky Cow, ran through Universal Press Syndicate from 2003 to 2008 and turned on the staff of a fictional fast food chain.
