The Girl with No Shadow

Joanne Harris’s “The Girl with No Shadow” is the follow-up to “Chocolat.” The main character, Vianne Rocher, runs a chocolate in Paris while posing as Yanne Charbonneau. Her goals are for Anouk and Rosette, her daughters, to live normal lives and be safe. But then a mysterious and endearing woman named Zozie de l’Alba enters their life and throws them off. When Zozie is around, things alter drastically and Yanne is forced to face her history and real self.
