About this book

Ada Limon’s poetry attends to the connections between people, animals, landscape and inherited experience. Organized around the seasons, the collection considers sensitivity to both suffering and ordinary pleasure. Its opening poems turn toward a groundhog eating tomatoes and a kingfisher glimpsed from a car, placing close observation beside larger human concerns.
