About this book
Savannah Brown's poetry considers mortality, fear and connection through encounters with nature and other people. A childhood experience in the ocean becomes a way of thinking about vulnerability, while a night among friends exposes the fragility of shared happiness. The poems move between bodily sensations, remembered moments and questions about living with uncertainty.
