The Judge’s List by John Grisham is a sequel to The Whistler, continuing the story of Lacy Stoltz of the Florida Board on Judicial Conduct. This time she is investigating a serial killer who turns out to be a sitting judge.

The premise alone makes the book hard to put down. Grisham’s pacing has not slowed in his fifth decade of writing.
