The Long Telegram

The Long Telegram is an important piece of correspondence in the annals of the Cold War, brought to you by George F. Kennan. The telegram was a response to queries from the U.S. about the behavior of the Soviet Union, especially their choice not to participate in the newly established World Bank and International Monetary Fund.
