Stolen as a child from the royal court in revenge against the king, Norman of Torn is raised in secret to be a fearsome swordsman and the scourge of the nobility, leading a band of outlaws who plunder the great lords while protecting the common people. As civil war divides the land, the mystery of his true birth draws toward its revelation, and his love for a highborn lady tests his outlaw’s oath.
