About this book
The Radio Boys with the Revenue Guards is a book by Gerald Breckenridge. In Chapter I, Two Mysteries, two characters, Jack and Frank, remark that it is not much like last summer. The title page lists other books by the author, including The Radio Boys on the Mexican Border and The Radio Boys on Secret Service Duty, among others.
The text describes three characters trundling a plane out to the skidway, where Jack spins the propeller while Bob manipulates the controls. Frank bends down, unlashes a pair of binoculars from a pocket in the pit, and begins scanning the sky. A massive door has a huge iron bar over it in a socket, and Frank says it is the door to the cell they had us in. The man named Higginbotham looks up with fear and defiance in his features, and Captain Folsom says sharply, so it is you.
