About this book

Screwtape, an experienced devil, advises his nephew Wormwood on drawing a young Christian away from his faith. Their correspondence turns the mechanics of temptation into religious satire. C. S. Lewis uses the devils' interest in everyday habits, fashionable ideas and distractions to examine the choices that shape a person's spiritual life.
