The Thief of Bagdad

The author of the book “The Thief of Bagdad” is Achmed Abdullah. The book is a classic fantasy novel. It is based on a film of the same title starring Douglas Fairbanks. The story begins when Ahmed, the most skilled thief in Baghdad, steals into the Caliph’s palace in search of loot. As the story goes, he takes one look at the town’s princess, which leads him to discover an even bigger treasure, as the princess turns out to be a thief, stealing his heart instead.
