The Travels is a chronicle of the Italian explorer’s adventures across Asia, penned by Marco Polo and Rustichello da Pisa in the 13th century. The narrative recounts Polo’s experiences from 1271 to 1295, including his time at Kublai Khan’s court.
The authenticity of Polo’s accounts has been a subject of debate among scholars. Some question whether Polo actually made it to China or if he was merely recounting tales told by other travelers.
About the Author
