Ferit Edgü

Ferit Edgü shaped Turkish fiction through novels, stories, essays, poetry, and screenwriting, returning to eastern mountain communities he encountered while teaching in Hakkâri. The Wounded Age and Eastern Tales brings together two books in English translation by Aron Aji. NYRB Classics published the volume in 2023.
