This Ordinary Life

Jasmine Torres, a high school radio personality, is the center of Jennifer Walkup’s young adult contemporary romance “This Ordinary Life.” Family discord permeates her life, yet she never gives up. She is optimistic that things will improve when she has the opportunity to secure her ideal internship at a radio station in New York City.

She has to miss the interview due to her brother Danny’s health problems, which sends her back into the loop of taking care of her mother and worrying about Danny’s future. Wes, a fellow traveler with her brother’s illness, is introduced to her.
