Throwing Stones

Avery Cockburn’s romance book “Throwing Stones” is set in the curling community. The narrative centers on Oliver Doyle, a prominent curler from Canada whose career was cut short by controversy. His goal upon arriving in Glasgow is to lead Scotland’s upcoming elite squad to a national title. But he has to contend with a group of outsiders led by the annoyingly adorable skip Luca Riley. Luca and Oliver instantly connect irresistibly as they compete. Oliver confesses the hidden guilt that has prevented him from skating for years, and Luca is finally accepted for the person he truly is.
