Craig Johnson

Johnson lives on a ranch in Ucross, Wyoming, a settlement of roughly twenty-five people, and worked as a police officer in New York before that. The Longmire novels follow a county sheriff who is competent, slow and unmodernised, and they take the reservation next door seriously rather than using it as scenery.
