The author of the book ‘We Didn’t Ask for This’ is Adi Alsaid. This is a young adult novel. It is set basically, at Central International School during its annual lock-in night. This year, Cuevas and Marissa staged an eco-protest with their team and chained themselves to the door. The protest that takes place disrupts the six students’ plans and everyone’s night dreams.
